Ihr Warenkorb ist leerDieser Garnknäuelwickler (Modell YBW-A) macht Garnknäuel mit einer Kapazität von ca. 113 g. Die Klemmbasis ermöglicht es, ihn fest an den Kanten von Tischen, Stühlen, Bänken oder anderen praktischen Orten zu befestigen. Die maximale Dicke des Tisches, auf den dieser geklemmt werden kann, beträgt ca. 3,5 cm. Es ist am besten mit einem schnellen Garnwickler zu verwenden (Regenschirm oder Amish-Stil, beide unter Stanwood Needlecraft Markennamen erhältlich). Aber Sie können einen Swift leicht durch andere Geräte oder einfach nur Ihre Arme ersetzen. Die Verarbeitung dieser Kugelwickler ist überlegen. Im Vergleich zu unserem Modell YBW-B ist dieser Wickler glatter und macht beim Wickeln weniger Geräusche.

I really do like this little yarn winder. I have slowly converted half of my yarn collection into cakes and it is easy to do while watching TV. Just take your time, don't rush it, this is not a race. Also, don't forget what you are doing as you are winding and make a cake the size of a dinner plate. I almost did that. The cakes hold together pretty well and a regular skein of yarn will convert into 3 or 4 cakes, depending on the size of that skein. I store them in 1 gallon size zip lock bags to keep the colors together and the yarn clean.Update: I have had this yarn winder for 6 weeks and just wanted to emphasize how much I like it. It is nothing fancy and I have to crank it myself but it does a great job. I am happy with the yarn cakes it makes. They average between 3 1/2" to 4" in diameter. That is a good size for me.

So glad I stopped fighting with my pretty but pretty useless wooden winder and bought this one. Love it for its ease of set up and the beautiful cakes it produces!

I'm so glad I upgraded to this ball winder.I've bought two cheaper ball winders in the past (the $25 ones) and both have broken after minimal use and always taken care of (put back in the box after each use).This one had good directions included in the package. The directions, with pictures, are easy to follow with no chance of confusion. They even provide a way to contact the company should there be any issues.Though I've only used it once since it arrived, I must say I am completely satisfied with it. It is made of sturdier (thicker) plastic, the winder is smooth and doesn't wobble (like my previous cheap ones), and works solidly and quietly.I wish I had bought this one in the beginning; I could have saved myself the cost of the 2 cheap ones.If you need a ball winder, avoid those cheap $25 ones and get this one. Much better value for your money.Recommended.
