I got this for my kids as a random Christmas present no one asked for but I thought they might enjoy. No one liked it, my kids (ages 11, 8, and 7) all tried it and weren’t impressed or thought it was too hard to make stuff with. It got put away and forgotten about for the next 5 months. Then out of nowhere my 11 year old got it out to repair a broken hair claw clip she had and all three of my kids took turns using it to add onto other items and became obsessed with it. Now I’m having to buy replacement “ink” sticks because they had so much fun. While there is a learning curve, it’s worth it to find a way to create that works for them because my kids played with it for hours over several days. A great creative outlet for kids that doesn’t involve a screen and lets them use creative problem solving. My 7 year old made a mech suit for a peanut.

Kinder, die gern basteln, haben hier ein Tool mit dem Vieles möglich ist. Allerdings muss einem bewusst sein, dass viel Plastikabfall entsteht und damit meine ich nicht die Exponnate, sondern die missglückten Versuche....Außerdem kann man das passende Filament auf Amazon Prime nicht versandkostenfrei nachbestellen.

Funktioniert schon nach einer halben Stunde nicht mehr. Zieht das Filament nicht ein, rauscht und knistert. Zudem sind die hierfür vorgeschlagenen Filamente nicht geeignet. Für diesen Preis eine Frechheit. War ein Geschenk für meine Tochter zum Geburtstag... Schade, sie ist frustriert und traurig.

Der Stift ist einfach in der Handhabung. Die mitgelieferten Fingerschutzkappen verhindern ein versehentliches Verbrennen an der Haut. Der Stift muss nur geladen werden. Danach ist ein kabelloses Benutzen möglich. Das ist ein eindeutiger Vorteil gegenüber einigen anderen Stiften. Meine Tochter konnte gleich begeistert loslegen.Allerdings sind andere Filaments als die vom Hersteller nicht kompatibel mit dem Stift. Man muss schon genau schauen, dass man die richtigen erwischt (der Hersteller hat noch andere Stifte und auch hier sind nicht alle Filaments untereinander kompatibel). Das stört mich schon sehr. Auch weil damit die Farbauswahl recht begrenzt ist und die Nachfüllpackungen recht teuer sind. Das wiegt der attraktive Anschaffungspreis des Stiftes leider nicht auf.Ich würde mich im Nachhinein nun für einen anderen Stift entscheiden.
