I've been a fan of these light saber like tube lights and have used a few for weddings and studio work. This one from Godox is nicely built, though a little bit on the bulkier side. The construction is nice and solid plastic, and the removable barn doors are easy to manipulate. There is a pretty significant amount of light bleed on them as they never really fully close, and the surface is white over reflective which makes them feel a little bit less effective.Controlling the light via the wheel is very easy and is easy to do with one hand. It does have a handle for one handed operation with thin material on the grip. This material could be a lot better in my opinion as sadly the one they have is a little slippery and doesn't really supply that much grip to the handle at all. There is an optional lanyard hoop you can put a wrist strap through for more security.I like that it has a standard tripod mount on the bottom, so you can attach this to a light stand or an articulating head. It also comes with a power cord which sadly plugs into the side above the handle (along with a USB C port on the other side). This placement was a little strange when it comes to using the light on a stand as it pokes out at odd angles. I was able to put the light on a 100w pd and it was charging at 60w while the light was running at 100%. Something absolutely annoying though is the placement of the USB-C slot and the power slot completely gets in the way of the barn doors, so they are either fully open or fully closed while you are charging depending on your cable.The RGB of the light is pretty potent and strong and it looks great. Overall the light is really bright and easy to use. It's pretty pricey and I don't really know if the value is there as some other tube lights are a lot cheaper. If you do want something that is plenty bright and has a lot of useful features, this is a good light.

Auf den ersten Blick dachte ich mir: „Das ist er“ doch leider konnte er mich nicht in allem überzeugen.Kurze Zusammenfassung:+ Kompakte Maße+ Verarbeitung+ Mobilität+ Leuchtkraft+ AppO GriffO Hörbare Lüfter- Drehschalter- Mikrofon Modus- Preis- Kaum Zubehör (Reflektor)Man bekommt hier ein kompakter, hochwertigen und leistungsstarken Video Lichtstab zu einem doch sportlicheren Preis.So hat man eine tolle Aufbewahrungstasche in der alles Platz findet für Lampe und Netzteil.Als Zubehör ist nur ein Reflektor enthalten.Ich durfte schon einen Lichtstab testen der zusätzlich einen Diffusor und Grid enthielt und preislich sogar noch günstiger war.Die Leuchte wiegt zwar knapp 1,3 kg, was aber für das viele Können immer noch wenig ist und man durch den eingebauten Akku maximal mobil ist.Gerade wenn man die enorme Leuchtkraft bedenkt.Sehr schön finde ich auch, das zu dem großen Lichtspektrum von 2500 -8500 K auch noch RGB eingebaut wurden mit einem CRI96＋ und TLCI96+ Wert.Kommen wir zu den neutralen Sachen. Hier finde ich z.B. den eher Trapezförmigen Griff eher unpraktisch bei dem Gewicht. Zwar hat man unten ein 1/4 Zoll Gewinde für ein Stativ, aber ich finde nach einer Zeit hält es sich unbequem.Hier wäre ein runder Griff angenehmer gewesen (hätte aber auch wieder nicht zum Design gepasst) und rundum eine Anti Rutsch Beschichtung.Wenn man die Geräusche der Lüfter umgehen möchte, kann man diese abschalten.Nir muss man bedenken, dass sich die Leistung auf 50% reduziert.Finde ich gut, da man die Lüfter dann doch hört wenn man in der Nähe der Lüfter ein Video aufnimmt.Als Verbesserungsfähig sehe ich den Drehschalter. Der Drehschalter ist vermutlich das billigste an der ganzen Lampe und man hat das Gefühl man hat eine 0815 Lampe in der Hand. Wackelig, nicht präzise und billig. Sorry aber hier wurde am falschen Ende gespart.Was mir gut gefällt ist eine App Anbindung.So kann man die Lampe auch im Stationären Zustand aus der Ferne bedienen ohne die ganze Zeit an der Lampe zu stehen.Also Highlight wir zudem noch der Mikrofon Modus angepriesen.Ja, hätte man hier nur noch bischen mehr Arbeit rein gesteckt.So hat man nur zwei Musik Modi und dazu ein extrem empfindliches Mikro.Also entweder man findet den richtigen Abstand zur Musik oder die Farben wechseln in eine Strobo Artigen Schnelligkeit.Preislich und wegen dem günstigen Drehschalter sowie unnützen Musikmodus kann ich leider keine vollen Sterne geben und vergebe daher nur sehr gute 4 Sterne.

The colored LED lights are the best way to go. So much easier than messing around with the gel sheets. It has plenty of power and really brings in the colors where you want them. I mostly do still photography. But these have a couple great effects for videos including using for plain lighting. I always try to keep these things plugged in while using them. So I don't know about the battery. If it fie your budget or not, I wouldn't know, I always shop wisely and get the most for my hard earned dough.I hope that my review is helpful

I ordered this GODOX LC1000R Handheld RGB Tube Light to record social media videos. I have another light for videos which is quite big to mount and I was annoyed by it. This one though is very sleek and has to mount. You can adjust the sizes with your hands and all the basic controls can be done on the light itself. It is truly strong. You can also adjust color, luminosity and other few setups. It also has a microfone and it seemed quite responsive (and fast!). I would recommend this light for anyone looking for a sleek studio light. I would for sure order it again.
