Honestly for me it was very hard to make it come back to me for the first week or 2 , even after reading the instructions and watching tutorials but after you keep practicing and become more familiar with it then it becomes easy to use and flies beautifully.

I ordered this and the Speed Racer Fast Catch Boomerang at the same time and they both work great. They fly very differently but they are both great for lots of fun with our kid. They are both very light weight and vert sturdy, so if they hit something hard they are not likely to break.

I already have experience with boomerangs from several manufacturers, therefore, I know the technique. Based on that I can say that this is an amazing boomerang, but it is mandatory to learn the basics first through videos at least, then you will get the best of it.I tried it first from a friend of mine and then I bought my own.Excellent addition to my collection.

I am brand new to boomerang stuff. Three days I struggled, the boomerang was refusing to return. Now I am able to make it to return closer to me and sometimes I catch too. It has fallen many times on the hard surfaces and nothing happened except some scratches and small peel offs on the boomerang. We need a lot of space otherwise you'll be struggling like me often to take out from the tree tops.Overall a very good stuff.

Threw this boomerang and caught it on the first try!Really easy to use (read directions first!). One issue that came up was its long range (20-30 yards .. 60-90 feet) which we needed to find a bigger space (since it got stuck in the trees). Other than the trees issue, though, the boomerang was PERFECT. I bought the scimitar (which is great for nighttime throwing), but love this one even more since it's very reliable once you figure out where the wind is coming from.Hot: Flight is smooth and doesn't change, easy to throw, caught it on the first try!Cool: Made of durable plastic (crashed into a tree a couple times and it's okay!), feels like a good weight not too heavy or too lightNot so hot: Long range makes it hard to throw in a small space
